Chocolate covered bananas & truffles (vegan, low sugar, gf)
Well it was another snow day so that meant more experimenting in the kitchen. This was a quicky but a goodie.
Used the last of our organic 99% cacao bar, melted it down then mixed in some local raw honey, coconut milk, and a dash of vanilla extract.
Cut up some bananas, dipped them, then rolled in shredded coconut (the real stuff – organic and unsweetened). Popped them in the freezer.
Had some left over chocolate so made a few truffles and rolled in the coconut as well.
That’s it. Super easy, super yummy and a great activity for young kids.
