Blending or juicing?
Which is better – juicing or blending?
I am planning on doing a 3 day juice cleanse and am considering blending instead. From what I can tell, the only difference between the two is the removal of the fiber in juicing. I never think of fiber as a bad thing. Do you believe that juicing allows one to better absorb nutrients? If that’s true, do you think that’s vital during an extended period where one is consuming nutrients in this manner only? Does the fiber impede that process? Or with a lack of fiber, does juicing shoot blood sugar up to unnecessary levels? And what about constipation?
Has anyone ever done a “juice cleanse” where they blended instead? What were the results? Or do you swear by juicing? Why? I’d really love to hear from you.
