Today’s smoothie: The Fruity Green

In celebration of Spring, sunshine, & on-days (as opposed to the off-day I wrote about earlier this week), here’s a yummy fruity green smoothie that is sweet enough for any kiddo to enjoy and nutrient-dense and filling enough for you to be glad to make it breakfast. (And power you through a game of Memory with a super smart, super wily 4 year old!).

The Fruity Green

1/2 cup chopped frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 medium banana
1/ 2 cup frozen chopped spinach
Water

Blend & enjoy!

P.S., after almost a year of supplementing with vegan protein powder, I had an epiphany – why exactly do I need it? The answer is, I don’t! And it saves me $80/month!
