No exceptions: Vacation
Vacation is tricky. I’m definitely not cooking and am eating out a lot – whether it’s a quick meal on the go or a nice sit down dinner. But I have the choice – the choice to say the hell with it and eat whatever and probably feel like crap later, or the choice to eat well, do the best I can with what I’ve got (still waiting for organic restaurants to be the norm!) and enjoy.
Today I’ve had fresh fish ceviche, fresh guacamole, pazole, and a yummy splurge – lime margarita with no added sugar. There were lots of other things I could have ordered but I stuck to what was best for me and wasn’t shy about asking questions about how things were prepared.
