This explains a lot for me too! I would stress eat skittles all the time! Lol- too bad sugar is my enemy tho!
Yes, I’m def not suggesting it’s a good way to reduce stress but it explains why, when cortisol levels rise, we reach for sugar and refined carbs. I’ve been formulating a theory and this is a missing puzzle piece. More to come soon!
